Shimada Travel Partners Co., Ltd. introduced “Tabisuke,” its assisted travel service, at CareTEX Tokyo 2026 Summer. The company specializes in accessible travel, primarily offering day trips for older adults and people who require assistance, including wheelchair users. It operates three welfare vehicles, including Caravan and HiAce models as well as a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, selecting the appropriate vehicle according to users’ needs.
Tabisuke mainly organizes small-group trips for around five to eight participants, providing opportunities to visit aquariums, tourist destinations, and other leisure locations. Users can remain in their wheelchairs while traveling, helping people who may find conventional group tours difficult to enjoy outings with appropriate mobility support.
At the exhibition, the company promoted a free trial tour campaign for CareTEX visitors. Rather than focusing only on transportation, Tabisuke was presented as an assisted travel solution that supports opportunities for older adults and people with mobility needs to go out and enjoy leisure activities.

Although we call it travel for people with disabilities, we mainly offer day trips, and we own three vehicles.
