Voxela Japan Co., Ltd. introduced an AI-powered video monitoring system for care facilities at CareTEX Tokyo 2026 Summer. The system uses AI to continuously analyze camera footage and detect resident activity, including getting out of bed, entering designated areas, and situations in which a resident is found on the floor following a possible fall.
A key feature is the delivery of a 30-second short video together with each alert. When a fall or other incident occurs, staff can review the video to understand what happened rather than relying only on the notification itself. This additional context helps caregivers assess the circumstances surrounding an incident and determine an appropriate response.
The company also applies AI to post-incident administrative work. Its technology can assist with transcription and the preparation of incident reports, helping reduce the indirect workload placed on care staff. Voxela positions its solution as an integrated approach covering risk detection, monitoring, incident review, reporting, and prevention support.

We are introducing a monitoring system that uses cameras.
There is no internal mechanism in the camera itself; our system uses AI to continuously detect the user’s movements from the camera’s video feed andsend notifications to you.
Notifications include the detection of getting out of bed, notifications when someone enters a specific area, or notifications when a user has fallen to the floor.
We don’t just send notifications;we also send a 30-second short video along with the notification.
So, for example, if someone falls, we can send a notificationafter confirming the circumstancesthat led to the fall, allowing you to take very appropriate action afterward.
Furthermore, the next step in addressing this issue will be the generation of an accident report.
However, we offer a system where AI can handle the generation of accident reports for you, simply by pressing a button it will transcribe the report and assist with the report creation process.
We believe we can help with your daily indirect tasks as well.
