PODIATECH presented its custom insole manufacturing technology and pressure-mat foot assessment system at Medical Fair Asia 2026 through The Prosthetic Company. Part of the SIDAS group’s foot-health business, PODIATECH provides thermoforming solutions, orthotic materials, foot-analysis tools and professional training for the production of customized foot orthotics.
At the exhibition, the team demonstrated a workflow in which a patient’s feet are first assessed using a pressure mat, followed by molding with a foot-forming bag and thermoforming of heated insole materials. According to the presentation, the system can produce customized insoles in approximately 20 minutes, with materials, densities and thicknesses selected according to individual requirements.
The Prosthetic Company provides prosthetics, orthotics and custom insole services in Singapore and Malaysia and supports the regional use of PODIATECH solutions. The system is intended for foot-health professionals, prosthetists and orthotists, sports clinics and rehabilitation facilities seeking an on-site workflow for assessment, fitting and production of customized orthotics.

We work with 9,000 health professionals over the world. To do what? To do customized insoles.
So, here we have two different ways to make insoles.
We have the free fit, which is for retail, medical.
And we have a solution here that we’ll show you that will allow you to make customized insoles yourself in 20 minutes time.
So, you have the patient come and you have the solution immediately. Which is a revolution in the market.

Bend your knees forward slightly. I’m just going to sink you into the bags and take a cast of your feet.

So, after 3 minutes at 90°, the insoles are ready to go into the bags.
So, once they’re nice and soft, we open up the oven.
Put them on there.
