Organic Matcha, Jujube, and Yuzu - TOUKI Co., Ltd. [CAFERES JAPAN 2026]

My name is Kaito from TOUKI Co., Ltd.
We manufacture and sell organic food products in China.
When we say organic food, we mean not just barley grass, but also things like this, which are mixed together, heated, and made into ready-to-eat products.
What we have brought with us from TOUKI today is matcha.
It is cultivated in places like this.
It is a little different from matcha cultivation in Japan, as the area is very large.
This area alone is about 300 hectares.
There, it is processed using the same process as in Japan, and it becomes sweet tea.
If you turn this sweet tea into powder, it becomes the matcha that you are all familiar with.
Tea originally originated in China, and you can find it everywhere in China.
Next is jujube.
Many of you are probably more familiar with the word dates than jujube.
Jujubes usually look like this.
The seeds are removed and they are sliced.
That is the second one.
And then there are the pieces cut into shapes that are convenient for processing and can also be used as toppings.
When kneaded, it becomes date jam.
It’s like this.
You knead this into bread, bean paste, or things like that.
When used in this way, it’s very convenient and can be used as a substitute for sugar, so it’s good for beauty, plus health, plus good for the body, and it’s extremely popular in China right now.
What we’re bringing now is, of course, organic.
We will have organic JAS certification for this starting from October of this year.
To be clear, for physical processing like this, it’s organic JAS.
For kneaded products like this, organic certification for this starting from October of this year.
That’s how we’re currently introducing it.
We’ve also brought yuzu.
It’s been 20 years since it was brought from Japan to China, which means that the yuzu seedlings we handle are actually transported from Kochi Prefecture to China.
They are taken to China and grafted onto rootstock.
These trees are the result of grafting and growing large.
We have actually applied for organic certification for this yuzu, and it will be certified under the Organic JAS standard starting with next year’s harvest.
Currently, it is certified organic in China.
Regarding production volume, one farm cultivates it on 500 hectares,and our business partners in Zhejiang Province have 2000 hectares, and our business partners in Hunan Province have 3000 hectares,so in terms of cultivation volume, or the amount of juice produced, we believe we can supply more than 2000 tons this year.
It is very easy to use and delicious when used as a beverage rather than for making vinegar.
