株式会社テクノ電子 introduced the PipescanHD, a magnetic flux leakage technology inspection instrument from Canada’s Eddyfi, for nondestructive testing.
The target is iron. It is characterized by its ability to capture even small defects with a 1 mm diameter at high speed of 1 m/s. It is also described as supporting inspection not only of the surface but also of the back side, as well as inspection through paint.
As a high-speed primary screening inspection technology, its potential for use in the field was shown.

00:00 We are E-TECHNO LTD.
00:02 Today, we will introduce leak flux technology for non-destructive testing equipment.
00:10 This is a product called PipescanHD, handled by Eddyfi in Canada.
00:17 Its features are that the target is steel, but even for small defects of 1 mm diameter,
00:28 it can detect those defects quickly at a speed of 1 m/s.
00:39 It can also detect defects on the surface and on the back side, and it can also detect through paint, so
00:49 to repeat, we believe there is great potential for this to be used in the field as a high-speed primary screening inspection technology.
