At INTERMEASURE 2026, JFE Advantech Co., Ltd. is introducing the air leak viewer MK-770A. It is a device for visualizing compressed-air leaks from a distance.
The rear side is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor and an ultrasonic microphone, which pick up the ultrasound in leak noise and locate the source. In the booth explanation, the company says the unit was also demonstrated at a distance of about 1 m, and that under ordinary conditions it can detect targets 7 to 8 m away.
It is intended for inspecting compressors and elevated piping inside plants, including locations that require a stepladder or scaffolding. The product displays leak volume as flow rate in a simplified format and can show the energy-saving effect of repairs in monetary terms in real time.
