In the food packaging industry, manufacturers are expected to reduce material costs and address environmental requirements while maintaining shelf appeal and product visibility.
At FOOMA JAPAN 2026, Kitashikoku Gravure Printing Co., Ltd. introduced Slimru Film, a milky white film for flexible packaging.
By using a film that is white by itself, the solution helps reduce white ink usage while maintaining vivid color reproduction, supporting both packaging efficiency and product presentation.
The company provides flexible packaging materials for food, hygiene products, cosmetics, and quasi-drugs, with integrated support from planning and design to manufacturing and sales.

This time, we would like to introduce our milky white film, Slimru Film.
This film is made of a milky white film.
Regular films are transparent, so white printing is done on them, but since this film is milky white, we can print without using white while maintaining beautiful colors.
White is the main ink that covers a large area on the package,so in the case of this package, we can reduce the amount of ink by about half.
Regular printing uses white, but it inevitably results in a translucent appearance.
With this package, we use a milky white film that has good color reproduction, so we can bring out the best in the package.
Our company can handle everything from design to package manufacturing and sales.
