AI face-recognition monitoring service Minamori MAIGO - RISCON TOKYO 2026
Japan International Human Capital Development Organization introduced its AI face-recognition monitoring service, Minamori MAIGO, at RISCON TOKYO 2026. Headquartered in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, the organization is promoting a system that links identity confirmation to the protective custody of a missing child using a face image registered in advance.
At the exhibition, the company demonstrated a workflow in which a photo taken on the spot when a child is taken into protective custody is searched and matched against registered face images. The system is characterized by its ability to confirm the name and guardian based on a match rate of more than 90%, and it was presented as a tool for shortening the time from discovery to contact.
The organization said it is focusing on the issue that, in Japan, people are placed into protective custody quickly, but their names often take time to confirm. Through Minamori MAIGO, it is seeking to address that challenge and introduced it as a monitoring service designed to speed up the process of contacting guardians at missing-child response sites.
