Yoshimura Packaging Co., Ltd. presented products designed to make Japanese tea easier to enjoy in everyday life at the 102nd Tokyo International Gift Show Autumn 2026. The company specializes in packaging for Japanese tea and introduced products that respond to changing consumer habits as fewer people prepare loose-leaf tea with a traditional teapot.

One of the featured products was the “Leaf Tea Cup,” a paper cup with tea leaves and a built-in filter. Users can add hot or cold water and enjoy a second or third infusion from the same cup. The company also introduced “ANY&ANY,” made with domestically produced tea leaves without added flavorings or additives, as well as Sanrio collaboration flavored teas using Japanese tea leaves and packaged in die-cut formats with drip bags inside.

Another highlight was a matcha shaker finished with Yamanaka lacquer. By adding about 2 g of matcha and water and shaking the container, users can prepare matcha without a traditional bamboo whisk. The resulting concentrated matcha can be mixed with milk or water for drinks such as matcha latte, hot matcha, or iced matcha, offering a more convenient way to enjoy traditional Japanese tea culture at home.
