Takama is advancing the commercialization of salacia root imported from India as a functional ingredient processed in Japan. In the health food market, not only function-based ingredient claims but also an integrated system from raw material sourcing to processing are becoming key factors for differentiation. The company is developing OEM and private-label products while also focusing on a newly identified component called “Red Salacia,” proposing its potential application in improving blood flow and reducing cardiovascular-related risks.

This is Takama Co., Ltd.
We are exhibiting at ifia this time.
At ifia, we are introducing our salacia product.
We import raw wood from India, the raw wood shown behind us, and process it in Japan into extract.
We commercialize the processed extract ourselves, turning it into tea products such as these and selling them.
We also produce various OEM and private-label products, so please feel free to contact us.
In addition, a new component has recently been found in salacia.
We call it Red Salacia.
This Red Salacia has an effect of widening blood vessels and is said to help suppress conditions such as cerebral infarction and myocardial infarction.
We sincerely ask for your support for Takama’s salacia products.
Thank you very much.
