When analyzing dietary fiber as a nutritional component, extraction samples must first be prepared. The process involves many complex steps, and when performed manually, operator-to-operator variation is unavoidable.
Such variation can negatively affect analytical accuracy.
This innovative system was developed to ensure that consistent extraction results can be obtained regardless of who performs the analysis.
Tasks that are normally carried out using beakers and other glassware can instead be completed using ANKOM’s proprietary filter bag technology, eliminating the need for glassware altogether.
As a result, there is no glassware cleaning required.
It also eliminates the need to prepare Celite, which is commonly used beneath crucibles during dietary fiber analysis.
Therefore, as long as a sample is available, there is no need for advance preparation the day before. The system can immediately begin producing dietary fiber extracts.
