株式会社テクノ電子 introduced the PipescanHD, a magnetic flux leakage technology inspection instrument from Canada’s Eddyfi, for nondestructive testing.
The target is iron. It is characterized by its ability to capture even small defects with a 1 mm diameter at high speed of 1 m/s. It is also described as supporting inspection not only of the surface but also of the back side, as well as inspection through paint.
As a high-speed primary screening inspection technology, its potential for use in the field was shown.
