INDUCTOTHERM GROUP exhibited the ARMS® automatic robot melting system at Thermotec 2026. The booth also displayed welding machines and heating equipment.
The robot is designed for induction melting furnaces and is intended to improve workplace safety. It can perform hazardous furnace-area tasks in place of operators, including slag removal, composition adjustment, carbon addition, and sampling. Operators can work from a safe workspace away from the melting deck.
The exhibit is relevant to foundry and melting operations that need safer furnace-side handling. The robot supports automation of tasks around induction melting furnaces, and the booth content also connected the exhibit to welding and heating equipment.
