In the apparel market, demand is increasing for functional textiles that use natural-origin materials and help reduce environmental impact. For fashion brands and OEM manufacturers, adopting sustainable materials can support product differentiation and strengthen brand value.
At GFT 2026, Thai Son S.P Co., Ltd., a Vietnam-based garment and fabric manufacturer, introduced functional fabrics made with sustainable materials. The company has a garment production capacity of around 300,000 pieces per month and can propose both fabrics and finished apparel products.
At the booth, the company presented natural-origin functional fabrics using rose fiber, milk fiber, lotus fiber, and fish scale-derived fiber. These fibers are blended with cotton fiber and processed into fabrics, offering material options for apparel products that require a stronger sustainability message.
Thai Son S.P emphasized that global material trends are moving toward more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. Its natural-origin textile proposals are relevant for fashion apparel, lifestyle products, sustainable brands, and OEM garment production.
