In addressing exhaust emissions from older diesel vehicles and power generation equipment, there is a need for methods to reduce pollutants and extend the service life of equipment without replacing all existing equipment.
At Biofuel Expo 2026, Automoto Genset introduced “VRECD,” a retrofit exhaust gas control system for vehicles, and an anti-smog gun based on an electric vehicle.
VRECD is a device designed to be retrofitted to existing large vehicles to reduce exhaust emissions. The company explained that it is in discussions with relevant organizations toward practical application to support the continued use of older vehicles subject to regulations.
Furthermore, in response to the problem of conventional diesel-vehicle-mounted anti-smog guns generating exhaust gases during operation, they are proposing a water spraying and dust suppression system using a 100% electric vehicle.

Our company is providing solutions for the Retrofit Emission Control Device for DPCC.
So we have installed more than 4,000 in pan India.
Automoto believes in innovation.
So, under the DPCC’s innovation drive, we have participated in that drive.
And we are coming up with two new products, which are also related to air pollution abatement.
So, one is the Vehicle Retrofit Emission Control Device.
As you can see, that is for heavy duty vehicles. We have developed one retrofit emission control device, which is called VRECD.
So, what is the concept; because all BS3 and BS4 vehicles are being banned as per the latest compliance.
But our thinking is that one truck is approximately 3,000,000 to 4,000,000 rupees.
And if we can reduce the pollution by using a 3,000,000 or 3,500,000 rupee solution, why waste our nation’s money? So, for that we have developed this product vehicle RECD.
And we are discussing with various regulatory bodies, so that it can be incorporated.
And the life of those vehicles can be increased.
And our second device is the anti-smog gun.
Because the anti-smog gun, which are running right now, they are all installed on the diesel vehicles.
So, in one instance they are reducing the ambient air pollution, but at the same time they are releasing harmful pollutants from diesel trucks.
So, looking to that we have solved this problem and we have developed India’s first 100% EV based anti-smog gun.
And our plan is to install approximately 150 guns in Delhi so that major roads can be covered and the commuters can breathe fresh air.
So, these are the two solutions which we have at the moment.
And very soon we will be selling these products in the market for the benefit of the customers.
Thank you.
