Benefits of Exhibiting
N-Plus is a specialized exhibition where companies can directly present new materials, high-performance materials, processing technologies, manufacturing DX, environmental solutions, and related products and technologies to professionals in manufacturers’ R&D, product design, and production engineering departments.
Because material performance and processing methods can be demonstrated through actual products, samples, and demonstrations, the exhibition can lead to discussions about adopting new materials, prototype requests, joint development, and contract manufacturing.
It can also be used to develop applications and acquire new customers across different manufacturing sectors, including automotive, electrical and electronics, industrial equipment, building materials, and medical devices.
By selecting the most suitable field from the 15 keyword-focused exhibitions, exhibitors can more effectively reach visitors who have specific technical challenges.
Key Points for Exhibition Preparation
Before exhibiting, clearly define the people you want to meet, such as R&D professionals considering new materials, design professionals looking for processing partners, and production engineers working to improve manufacturing processes.
For material-related products, organize information on physical properties, strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance, electrical properties, environmental performance, supply capacity, and applicable standards.
For processing technologies, prepare materials explaining supported materials, processing accuracy, processing dimensions, lot sizes, lead times, and quality control systems.
For adhesion, joining, and surface treatment, presenting processing conditions, durability, reliability evaluation, and application examples can help generate detailed technical discussions.
For product development DX and manufacturing process DX, be prepared to explain integration with existing systems, implementation periods, cost effectiveness, and user interfaces.
When displaying samples or prototypes, prepare conventional products for comparison as well so that performance differences can be communicated visually.

Please refer to the official exhibitor guidelines for the latest exhibition fees, decoration plans, and application conditions.
Booth Decoration and Construction Costs
As a general reference, booth construction may cost approximately JPY 300,000–800,000 for one booth, JPY 700,000–1,500,000 for two booths, and JPY 1,500,000 or more for four or more booths.
These figures are general estimates for exhibition booth construction and are not construction prices quoted by the organizer.
Additional costs may be incurred when installing actual precision processing equipment, 3D printers, measuring instruments, dedicated power supplies, heavy-duty display platforms, monitors, or LED displays.
When requesting a quotation from a booth contractor, provide the dimensions and weight of exhibits, power requirements, whether demonstrations will be conducted, and the required meeting space.
Personnel Costs
In addition to sales staff, assign R&D, design, or technical sales personnel who can explain material properties and processing technologies.
Having personnel capable of answering technical questions from visitors can lead to specific discussions about prototype requests, material evaluation, and joint development.
If negotiations with overseas companies are expected, consider assigning English-speaking staff.

Booth Examples by Size
One-Booth Exhibit
This size is suitable for relatively compact products and samples such as new materials, functional films, adhesives, coating materials, and precision components.
Combine material samples, performance comparison data, application examples, technical explanation panels, and monitors so that visitors can quickly understand the key features of the product.
Two-Booth Exhibit
A two-booth layout can separate comparative material sample displays, demonstrations of processing or measuring equipment, and a technical consultation area.
Show actual processing results and measurement data to communicate the benefits that can be achieved after adopting the product or technology.
Four or More Booths
This size is suitable for companies presenting multiple material product lines or several processing technologies.
The booth can combine live equipment demonstrations, displays by product category, technical seminars, and meeting areas.
When exhibiting large or moving equipment, design the booth with power requirements, safety equipment, and visitor circulation in mind.
When selecting a booth contractor, review its experience with materials, processing, and manufacturing exhibitions, its experience handling precision equipment, and photographs or portfolios of previous projects.
Key Points for a Successful Exhibition Booth
Visitor Flow Design
Separate the flow of visitors examining product samples, engineers watching live demonstrations, and visitors seeking detailed business discussions.
For processing equipment and moving machinery, provide a safe viewing area and restrict access where necessary.
If material evaluation and prototype consultations are a priority, design the booth so visitors can move naturally from sample displays to technical consultation seating.
Visibility
Make the brand name, technology field, and the problems solved by the product clearly visible from the aisle.
Communicate technical benefits concisely, such as “weight reduction,” “higher strength,” “improved heat dissipation,” “shorter processing time,” and “reduced environmental impact.”
Performance comparison charts, samples comparing new and conventional products, and application examples help engineers determine how the technology relates to their own challenges.
Demonstrations and Hands-On Experiences
For new materials, demonstrations comparing bending, tensile strength, heat resistance, and actual applications can be effective.
For processing technologies, use before-and-after samples, live equipment demonstrations, and videos of manufacturing processes.
For manufacturing DX products, show operating screens, data flows, and comparisons of operations before and after implementation.
During demonstrations, consider power supply, heat generation, moving parts, chemicals, and visitor safety.
Using Video at the Exhibition
Showing product introduction videos of approximately two to three minutes on monitors or LED displays in the booth can efficiently explain material manufacturing processes, precision processing procedures, coating processes, and 3D printing workflows.
Video is particularly effective for showing content that is difficult to reproduce at the exhibition venue, such as actual manufacturing operations, the internal structure of processing equipment, material testing, and before-and-after comparisons.
If information will also be distributed to overseas manufacturers and R&D professionals, consider multilingual support such as English subtitles.
By playing videos repeatedly, product information can continue to reach visitors even while staff members are engaged in technical consultations or business meetings.
Another option is to film product explanations by company representatives or technical staff at the exhibition and edit and distribute them as two- to three-minute videos on the same day or the following day.
The completed videos can be reused on the company website, YouTube, social media, sales emails, product pages, and materials for overseas distributors.
By continuing to publish the videos on Internet Exhibition.tv, product information can also reach R&D, design, and manufacturing professionals in Japan and overseas who were unable to visit the exhibition.
Videos explaining material performance and processing technologies become long-term assets that can continue to support sales and technical explanations after the exhibition has ended.
If a contractor can handle both booth construction and video production, the positions of actual equipment, lighting, monitors, LED displays, safety equipment, and camera locations can be planned together from the design stage.
