My name is Niclas Oehrn, and we work with all types of sensor data.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=8s\">00:08<\/a> The company was founded in 2013, and the first thing we made was sensors.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=15s\">00:15<\/a> Those sensors can detect different kinds of presence and the data behind it as well.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=21s\">00:21<\/a> So you have sensors, and then you have the platform to understand the sensor data. What do you do with that data?<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=27s\">00:27<\/a> That is why we are here, and this is our first time at InnoTrans.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=31s\">00:31<\/a> We are presenting the first rail solution in this company&#039;s history.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=34s\">00:34<\/a> It all started a couple of years ago when a major rail operator in the UK approached us with a problem.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=55s\">00:55<\/a> It is a sensor that tells you whether a seat is occupied or not.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=59s\">00:59<\/a> We can then provide that data to the operator, who can use it for multiple different use cases.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=67s\">01:07<\/a> The sensor itself is small, does not weigh much, and is mounted with double-sided adhesive tape.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=75s\">01:15<\/a> The sensor itself is fully rail-certified.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=78s\">01:18<\/a> The battery lifetime starts at a minimum of 5 years.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=82s\">01:22<\/a> This sensor also has an accuracy of over 99% for identifying a seated passenger.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=90s\">01:30<\/a> It identifies whether a person is sitting in the seat.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=94s\">01:34<\/a> One sensor is mounted with double-sided adhesive tape, and it lasts for the lifetime of the sensor itself.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=102s\">01:42<\/a> This sensor identifies two seats or one seat, so you have one per two seats that are installed.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=109s\">01:49<\/a> Once installed, all the data travels to one gateway per train.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=115s\">01:55<\/a> It communicates using a wireless frequency called Laura WAN.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=119s\">01:59<\/a> This has a long reach.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=122s\">02:02<\/a> So, you only need one gateway connected to the train&#039;s internet access.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=125s\">02:05<\/a> Then everything goes to our back-end server after that.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lCiVMu4I-no&amp;t=129s\">02:09<\/a> That gives us live data on exactly which seats are occupied by a customer.<\/p><p><a
