Today’s presentation is a 3D control panel, designed to save panel space by using a three-dimensional layout.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
A control panel is a panel with the necessary equipment placed on the middle board in such a way that it saves space.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
The cable ducts are used to assemble this way on a flat surface.
This is a typical control panel.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
We advocate, among others, this Rittal TS8 frame system.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
We are proposing to use not only the XY but also the z-axis, and to use depth to create a 3D arrangement, and so on.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
Our TS-8, symmetric structure, with our standard rails, can be configured in many different ways, left to right, depth to depth, and width to width.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
Furthermore, in this case, I use the regular holes in these rails to bundle the cables together.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
In other words, ductless is realized.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
The effect of ductless means that
Ducts are at a certain height, between equipment, but they increase the possibility of heat buildup.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
The z-axis is placed in such a way that the ducts are eliminated to avoid heat buildup.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
What this means is that the designers have to consider the required cooling capacity, obtained by thermal calculations, and the<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
The advantage of this is that the inside of the board can be cooled as expected.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
The use of the z-axis can also contribute to the miniaturization of the board.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
The board in this exhibit has the same configuration as the conventional board I introduced earlier, but with the height reduced by half.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
This so-called “duct-free” configuration, which does not use a middle plate, can be made half the size of a conventional control panel.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
So it has that kind of potential.
Thus, if we take a different perspective from the conventional control panel manufacturing, manufacturing can contribute to the miniaturization of the panel.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
