Hi my name is Eldene we’re at the commercial\u00a0 UAV show here in Las Vegas and we’re showing\u00a0\u00a0
off the Air Peak the Sony Air Peak the really\u00a0 unique features of the air Peak is that it’s 100\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
built by Sony the only thing that we don’t build\u00a0 ourselves is the Grimsy T3 gimbal but this one\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
is manufactured specifically for Sony cameras uh\u00a0 with a unique interface that you have full control\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
while you’re using the MPEG system so a couple\u00a0 of quick specs on the air Peak we build it from\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
the propellers to the propulsion system Sony’s\u00a0 the largest sensor manufacturer in the world so\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
there’s obviously many sensors on here we’ve got\u00a0 stereoscopic on all sides so it’s an extremely\u00a0\u00a0
safe drone to fly it’s also very responsive and\u00a0 very fast one of the things with the stiffness\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
of the propellers and the high velocity propulsion\u00a0 system it’s very stable in very high winds so even\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
if you get into a high wind situation the Drone\u00a0 is not going to dip a balloon as it stays itself\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
but it can actually balance and that’s good for\u00a0 a number of different reasons which I’m going to\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
get into the different applications into in a\u00a0 second so the main function with using the air\u00a0\u00a0
Peak is being able to integrate or into our system\u00a0 with the alpha cameras right now we have a lot of\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
different cameras that obviously have a lot of\u00a0 different purposes so everything from the alpha\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
one which can shoot up to 8K video 50 megapixel\u00a0 Stills up to 30 frames a second then we have the\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
Alpha One the 7s3 the fx3 those can all do a high\u00a0 frame rate video with low light sensitivity so up\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
to 120 frames per second 4K video obviously\u00a0 everything in between it as well in intra and\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
the beauty about being able to get that kind of\u00a0 video in 8k or 4K is it can be integrated into\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
workflows specifically in production so if you’re\u00a0 in a Hollywood production and you’re using maybe\u00a0\u00a0
a cinema line camera in fx3 and fx6 and fx9 you\u00a0 can integrate that look and feel and the same\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
color grading the same s-log picture profile for\u00a0 instance distance from your aerial footage into\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
the ground footage without any issues including\u00a0 your lensing options which is really fantastic\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
now for still photography we have the 61 megapixel\u00a0 R series we obviously have the 50 megapixel Alpha\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
One and those can be used for multiple purposes\u00a0 either for photography but in a situation like\u00a0\u00a0
we are at commercial UAV there’s a lot of\u00a0 industrial applications so whether it’s tower\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
inspection or architectural or infrastructure\u00a0 inspection it could be a photogrammetry having\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
a higher resolution camera gives you a lot of\u00a0 other benefits so time is money it’s going to\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
save you time because you’re going to take fewer\u00a0 photos you’re going to be in the air for shorter\u00a0\u00a0
periods of time you can go from side to side a\u00a0 lot quicker because you’re taking fewer images\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
at a higher resolution so you’re getting higher\u00a0 quality higher resolution in shorter time space\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
and that also means you’re stitching for your\u00a0 files together so a lot of benefits with the\u00a0\u00a0
different payloads so the benefit the main\u00a0 benefit here is being able to switch those\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
payloads out depending on your your use case on\u00a0 your industry so whether it’s film and production\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
whether it’s photography whether it’s commercial\u00a0 or industrial use case the air Peak fits into all\u00a0\u00a0
of these categories now quick talking about\u00a0 the flight controllers we can have single\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
op or dual op or even automated flight so in a\u00a0 single operator you’ll have the Epic controller\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
utilizing iPad with Sony’s software you can fly\u00a0 using the fpb or POV camera and then control the\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
attached camera that’s below by simply switching\u00a0 between the two screens the beauty of having an\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
integrated system with the with the grimsy and\u00a0 the Sony is you have full camera control so it’s\u00a0\u00a0
not a case of setting and forgetting setting\u00a0 a position going out and letting your camera\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
do its thing and then bringing it back and hoping\u00a0 you get the shot you can actually go and do touch\u00a0\u00a0
Focus there’s peaking displays you can do manual\u00a0 focus uh you can then control your uh exposure\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
or if you need a controls for instance your\u00a0 aperture shuttle or ISO so there’s a lot of\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
integrated camera control directly from the flight\u00a0 application now the Dual dual Opera excuse me the\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
Dual operation application would be utilizing two\u00a0 controllers one would be controlling the aircraft\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
as a pilot and the second would be controlling the\u00a0 camera and then the third application would be an\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
automated flight so you could set a mission uh\u00a0 you could either a program emission or you could\u00a0\u00a0
fly a mission and save it and then re-flight that\u00a0 mission again and there’s multiple benefits for\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
that let’s say I’m doing a tower inspection I can\u00a0 have the admission set to go around a tower or if\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
I’m doing a movie production I can have a blocked\u00a0 out shot that we can fly that and see the mission\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
and then tell the air Peak to go and fly those\u00a0 missions automatically and while it’s flying in\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
autonomous mode I can then control the camera so\u00a0 a lot of benefits of doing either single operation\u00a0\u00a0
dual operation or even automated flight with\u00a0 an operator and then finally while we’re here\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
we’re showing off some prototype units behind\u00a0 me it’s a new rtk kit that we’re coming out\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
with with antenna a module that fits onto air\u00a0 Peak it’s Clips or it bolts on really easily\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
you can simply upgrade your own air Peak at will\u00a0 with a base station we’ve got an extended life\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
batteries that are coming plus a battery station\u00a0 which can store up to 10 batteries it can charge\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
up to eight four at a time in sequence so you\u00a0 can you know make make sure that you’re always\u00a0\u00a0
optimized with fully charged batteries before\u00a0 flight it has an intelligent system to decharge\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
batteries as well for transportation so those are\u00a0 new uh accessories that we’re going to be bringing\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
to the market pretty soon so that’s it it’s LD\u00a0 nodia from Sony air Peak here at commercial UAV<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
