I&#8217;m the chief\u00a0strategy officer for Vertical Aerospace.<br \/>We&#8217;re here at the Farnborough air show and\u00a0what we&#8217;re showing here is the VX4,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-2.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">which is Vertical&#8217;s all-electric aircraft.<br \/>So we&#8217;re making\u00a0travel cleaner and greener we&#8217;re making it quieter and we&#8217;re making it much safer.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-3.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">The VX4 takes\u00a0off vertically and then flies horizontally.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-4.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">We have eight propellers on the wings which allow\u00a0the aircraft to take off.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-5.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">And then when it turns horizontally these front propellers tilt forward\u00a0and the back propellers stow and then it flies on the wing.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-6.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">And that allows us to fly about 160\u00a0kilometers 100 miles at about 150 kilometers an hour.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-7.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">So that means a trip of maybe 20-30 minutes\u00a0which could take you distances,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-8.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">if you think of London, such as from here at Farnborough down\u00a0to Brighton or to Cambridge or to Bristol or indeed into Central London.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-9.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">If I think of\u00a0some of the other places in the world we&#8217;re going to fly which include Japan,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-10.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">it would\u00a0allow us for example to fly from the 2025\u00a0Osaka expo site at Umeshima all the way to\u00a0Kansai international airport, Or to to Nara or to Kyoto, or to Kobe.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-12.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">Vertical has customers all around the world we&#8217;ve\u00a0 sold 1400 of these aircraft that&#8217;s about 5.6\u00a0billion us dollars worth of aircraft all around\u00a0the world.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-13.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">Our customers include Japan airlines, Marubeni in japan, also the world&#8217;s biggest\u00a0airline american airlines,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-14.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">who signed a deal with us only last week to put the first money down\u00a0to have the VX4 delivered to them.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-15.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">Also airlines like Virgin atlantic here in the UK or Air asia in\u00a0southeast asia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-16.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">We&#8217;re aiming to have this aircraft certified by the safety regulators all around\u00a0the world, starting here in Britain in the UK.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-17.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">But then validating that for example with the\u00a0 japanese government JCAB with the FAA in the US.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-18.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">We aim to do that by 2025.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-19.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">This aircraft is\u00a0going to be much safer than a helicopter.<br \/>It&#8217;s going to be as safe as a standard aeroplane a\u00a0 Boeing or an Airbus airplane.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-20.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">In fact it&#8217;ll be one of the safest ways you can travel.<br \/>Why is it\u00a0so safe?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-21.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">Well partly because it&#8217;s got the eight propellers and they&#8217;re all electric.<br \/>So there&#8217;s\u00a0much less that can break compared to a helicopter.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_box\">\n<div class=\"caption_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tenji.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/video_img\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07\/farnboroughairshow_2022_07_09-22.jpg\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"caption_text\">And also because of the wing, and
